Oct 21, 2009 - Version 1 of Mountain Series Drivers Completed for Control4.  AVocation's Mountain Series, a fully customizable series ranging from 4x4 to 32x32 (in any step of 4), now has a list of drivers available for testing in the Control4 environment.   The Mountain Series gives Control4 dealers flexibility and expandability previously unavailable to them.

Aug 21, 2009 - Peak Series Pike's Peak Unit is a CEPro Best Finalist!  AVocation's 8x8 component video piece with analog and digital audio has made the finalist list for CEPro's 2009 Best awards.  The quality and affordability of the Peak Series make it a combo that's simply hard to beat.

June 18, 2009 - Control4 Drivers Now Available in Composer's Online Database.  Now AVocation products are even easier to integrate into Control4 systems.  All of our Peak Series units have drivers that can be accessed in the online database of Composer.  Opening up an AVocation driver in the virtual directory allows you to see how extensive it is without actually having a unit in front of you.

April 16, 2009 - The RTI driver has been modified to give you more flexibility.  The RTI driver gives you the ability to route audio and video together or independently, plus volume control.  Now, with the updated driver, you can also break apart the digital audio, meaning you can route it with analog audio, with video, or independent of anything else.  This works great if you're using digital audio to route composite video!

March 23, 2009 -  AVocation Systems announces the release of its own version of Control4 drivers for The Peak Series.  Download 4x4, 8x4, 8x8, 8x16, 16x16 drivers here.  Click here for directions on how to load.  Now, within composer you can:

1. Route audio and video together or independently.
2. Discrete volume, volume ramp, and volume step up/down.  All w/feedback.
3. Discrete mute, mute toggle w/feedback.
4. Discrete balance w/feedback.
5. Set input sensitivity for any or all inputs.
6. Set max volume levels for any or all outputs.
7. Disable or re-enable front panel controls.

Jan. 29, 2009 -  Russound releases "Tech Tip" for AVocation System's SR-2.  The SR-2 allows two control systems to have access and bi-directional serial control of a product that has only one RS-232 port.  To read the Tech Tip, click here.

Dec. 10, 2008 - AVocation Systems is pleased to announce that it has entered into a complete partnership agreement with Remote Technologies, Inc. (RTI).  The RS-232 Avocation driver is now part of RTI's architecture and can be found in their master library for easy use in integrating the best in audio/video distribution products into your system.  The driver will operate all of Avocation's Peak Series products in routing audio and video together, or separately, as well as volume control and muting.  You can also download the driver here.

Sept. 15, 2008 - AVocation Systems announces its Packaging Recycling Program for matrices. With each matrix shipped, a return shipping label is provided for the dealer to return the shipping package back to AVocation so it can be recycled. The dealer simply has to tape up the box with the foam packaging inside and place the return label on it. The next time their UPS driver delivers a package they can hand over the return to the driver.
